Dr. Catherine Allaire shares insights on How BC improving Endometriosis Treatment

Dr. Catherine Allaire, Medical Director of the BC Women’s Centre for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis and Division Head of UBC’s Gynaecologic Specialties, was featured on 980 CKNW’s Morning with Simi, where she spoke on “How is BC Improving Endometriosis Treatment?”

She states that, “Endometriosis, a chronic condition, affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age and gender-diverse people. We have pushed to bring greater awareness and initiate clinical diagnosis for the suspicion of endometriosis based on symptoms, so people can be treated sooner and find relief from their symptoms.”
