
Biography:
Dr. Sarah Henderson is the senior environmental health scientist at the BC Centre for Disease Control, and an associate professor with the UBC School of Population and Public Health. Sarah leads a program of applied research and surveillance to support evidence-based environmental health policy for the province. She is an international expert on wildfire smoke exposure and its public health effects, and she covers a wide range of other environmental health topics relevant to the BC population. Sarah has recently joined the WHRI to build relationships with those who better understand how environmental factors affect the health of children and women.
