Esther Alonso holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience with additional post-graduate studies in Adult Education. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in conducting clinical research studies, ranging from investigator-initiated to industry-sponsored, international trials, in areas such as Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Neurology and Neonatology. She currently works at BC Women’s Hospital as the Program Research Manager of the Division of Neonatology. She has a keen interest in the ethics and administrative aspects of scientific knowledge production and strives to support the development of the Canadian Research Enterprise.
