REACH BC: Join the Opportunity!

REACH BC is a new online platform that connects the public and patients with research opportunities related to their health conditions and/or interests, to ultimately advance health care and improve health outcomes in British Columbia.

In order to better facilitate online recruitment of research participants during curtailment the WHRI and BCCHR offered a REACH BC webinar to staff and members on November 18th, facilitated by Project Manager, Stefanie Cheah. Following the training, over fifteen researchers joined REACH BC.

Stefanie took attendees through an overview of the platform, how to sign up for an account, and how to submit your research project to the public directory and find volunteers that matched the eligibility criteria. To date there are over 1600 people registered as REACH BC Volunteers, searching for health research opportunities in BC.
