Schuette, Yuki
Biography:
Yuki is an undergraduate student in Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, with research interests spanning sexual health, menopause, Alzheimer’s disease, and spinal cord injury (SCI). She currently works as a Research Assistant at the UBC Sexual Health Research Lab, where she is involved in a study examining the efficacy of a psychoeducation and sex-therapy treatment for Sexual Desire Discrepancy in couples. Alongside this, Yuki is investigating how spinal cord injury shapes the menopausal experience in women, which remains an underexplored intersection of neurorehabilitation and women’s health.
