Ruth Comfort
Biography:
Ruth completed her midwifery training at the University of British Columbia in 2006. After a few years practicing midwifery in the Great White North she returned to her home town of Vancouver. You wouldn’t know it because she works hard to hide her accent, but she is actually a Maritimer! In addition to being a practicing midwife, Ruth is the Assistant Head of the Department of Midwifery at BC Women’s Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital. She is also the mother of two little boys, Louis and Ezra. When she is not working you can find her chasing her boys at top speed along the beach.
