Biography:

 

Dr. Salker graduated with a PhD from Imperial College London, UK and most recently completed her subject specialisation in Gynaecology (Habilitation; Venia legendi) from Tübingen University, Germany.

Dr. Salker and her team investigate the role of steroid hormone signalling in the human endometrium, especially in the context of prevalent reproductive disorders, such as infertility, endometriosis and pregnancy loss. Her group is also interested in leveraging the abundance of omics data derived from clinically annotated samples to advance mechanistic understanding, biomarker discovery and to elucidate genotype-to-phenotype associations to predict complications.
