Biography:

Dr. Leanne Dahlgren has a MD and FRCSC in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her Maternal-Fetal-Medicine fellowship here at UBC as well as a Masters in Health Science (MHSc.) through the UBC Department of Health Care and Epidemiology.  She is currently an Associate Professor in the UBC Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and practices as a Maternal-Fetal-Medicine specialist at BC Women’s Hospital.  Her research focuses on population health in BC/Canada with respect to maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality with a focus on groups with discrepant outcomes.  Other interests include neonatal and maternal morbidity as it relates to mode of delivery and prenatal diagnosis.  She lives on the North Shore with her husband and two children.
