
Odobas, Lauren

Biography:
Lauren is a Master of Nursing Student studying Indigenous Wellness at UVic. She is a junior investigator engaged in community-based research for her thesis.
She works as a Certified Practice Registered Nurse at First Nations Health Authority in a provincial role serving all First Nations communities in BC, and as a frontline abortion and contraception provider at a local Women’s Health clinic.
She is a citizen of Métis Nation of British Columbia and lives on the sunny southern end of Vancouver Island on the unceded Lekwungen-speaking peoples’ territory known as Victoria.
