Biography:

Dr. Kia Anarna is a clinical fellow of neonatal neurology under University of British Columbia. She finished her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine in the same institution and is doing a subspecialty training to improve neonatal brain health. Her research interests include improving outcomes on term infants with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, looking at their risk factors, severity of injury and neurodevelopmental outcomes.
