Karen MacKinnon
Biography:
Karen MacKinnon PhD (Nursing) RN Karen MacKinnon is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Her program of research explores the social organization of health experiences and the work of childbearing women and nurses who provide maternity care for women and their families, with a special focus on rural nursing. Karen is also the Co-Director of the newly approved JBI evidence synthesis centre at the University of Victoria and has recently completed two qualitative Systematic Reviews.
