Biography:

 

Isabella Wen is a young storyteller who believes in hope as a radical act of resistance. She is a Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade Top 25 Under 25 recipient. Isabella founded a public speaking workshop series reaching 300+ youth that has empowered youth across Canada and internationally, helping young people find their voices. Recognizing the power of storytelling in challenging dominant narratives and shifting culture, she has expanded her advocacy into research and media. She leads a global public health communications team at the University of British Columbia, co-founded a feminist media organization interviewing 60+ women across the globe, and, as a fellow at Plan Canada, launched a global citizenship magazine reaching 500+ educators. She also serves as Canada’s Representative to the TikTok Global Youth Council and Vancouver’s Representative to the Generation 2026 World Cup Youth Council. In the future, Isabella hopes to continue learning from diverse perspectives while building movements that inspire lasting change.
