Biography:

Hilary Vallance is laboratory based physician and Medical Director of the BC Newborn Screening Program. Newborn blood spot screening identifies babies with rare treatable conditions for which early detection and treatment improves health outcomes. Hilary is a UBC Clinical Professor and has research interests in the evaluation of new conditions for the test panel.
