Biography:

 

Henry Zhao, MD, is a Plastic Surgery resident at the University of British Columbia and a Clinician Investigator Program Fellow. He holds a Master of Translational Medicine from the University of California, Berkeley/UCSF, with training in biomedical engineering, clinical trials, and med tech innovation. His research focuses on surgical innovation and natural language processing for medical data extraction. He is currently leading the development of a Canadian Breast Implant Registry to improve device surveillance, patient safety, and quality of care.
