Nick is a research team member under the supervision of Dr. Denise Pugash. He was born and raised in Vancouver and relocated to Kingston for four years to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at Queen’s University. Following graduation, Nick worked at an engineering consultant firm primarily designing complex building systems. During this time, Nick began to develop a keen interest in the intersection of technology and human health. Nick’s interest in technology and health led him to the field of medical imaging. As a Research Trainee, his current research projects centre on fetal ultrasound and MRI, specifically ventriculomegaly and the fetal brain, as well as prenatal detection of fetal facial abnormalities.
