Biography:
I am a family physician in Vancouver, BC. I work at Pender Community Health Centre in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside providing primary care, mental health and substance use disorder treatment to my patients. I also work at St. Paul’s Maternity Clinic providing prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care until 6 weeks to pregnant persons and their families. I am currently enrolled in the clinician scholar program through the Dept of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. I am currently starting a project which will explore how we screen pregnant people for adverse social determinants of health.
