Biography:

 

Celena is a graduate student at the University of British Columbia. As a part of the Rideout lab, she works with the mighty fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster). She is investigating a sex bias in protein synthesis and the mechanims by which it drives some aspects of cellular metabolism to regulate a sex difference in growth and body size.
