Biography:

 

I am starting as a MSc student in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I have a BSc in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. I have over 4 years of experience working on Alzheimer’s disease drug development at AltPep, a biotech startup aimed at treatment and detection of amyloid diseases. I am now interested in investigating the microbiota-gut-brain axis. In particular I’m looking at how inflammatory bowel disease influences Alzheimer’s disease.
