Biography:
Aislynn is a Master of Science by Research (MScR) student at the University of Edinburgh, where her dissertation focuses on ADHD strengths and emotional health outcomes in adolescents. Her three-study thesis uses structural equation modelling, ecological momentary assessment, and psychometric validation methods to examine how a strengths-based reframing of ADHD relates to anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, emotion regulation strategies, and self-esteem in adolescents in Scotland, England, and Wales.
Alongside her Edinburgh-based work, Aislynn conducted and managed women’s health research projects and clinical trials in obstetric anesthesia through the University of British Columbia and BC Women’s Hospital, where she worked as a research assistant for close to two years.
