Ms. Cabrera is a graduate student in Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia, working under the supervision of Dr. Manish Sadarangani in the Vaccine Evaluation Center. Her research involves the development of a vaccine against antibiotic-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, focusing primarily on Klebsiella pneumoniae. She is interested in finding a new approach that would help to limit the spread and emergence of bacterial resistance, particularly through vaccination.
