Eliana Castillo
Biography:
Dr. Eliana Castillo is Clinical Associate Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine University of Calgary, University of Calgary. Her medical and teaching practice focuses on obstetric internal medicine and reproductive infectious diseases. She has been active in the area of immunization during pregnancy and maternal mortality through her work with the National Advisory Committee for Immunization, Society of Obstetrics and Gyneacologists of Canada, ALARM program, Alberta Perinatal Health Program, and capacity building in Laos PDR. She completed her fellowships in internal and obstetric medicine and masters degree at the University of British Columbia and her MD at the Pontificia Javeriana University in Colombia.
