Biography:

Mackenzie (she/her) is a Master of Public Health student at Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a background in kinesiology. She is currently engaged with the RESET (Researching for Eco-Social and Equitable Transformation) Lab at SFU, researching climate change and its impact on the health of young women, girls, and gender-diverse peoples in rural BC. Mackenzie’s research interests encompass health equity for women and gender-diverse people, particularly concerning social determinants, experiences in the healthcare system, and reproductive health issues such as menopause.
