Jocelyn Srigley
Biography:
Dr. Srigley has been interested in infections ever since seeing the movie Outbreak. She is Royal College certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Medical Microbiology. She subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in infection prevention & control and a Master of Science in health services research. She is currently the corporate director of infection prevention and control for the Provincial Health Services Authority and a medical microbiologist at BC Children’s & Women’s Hospitals. Dr. Srigley’s research focuses on novel ways to change the behaviour of health care workers and patients and to change the culture of an organization in order to achieve the goal of reducing infections.
