In the Media: Dr. Nichole Fairbrother Featured on CBC Radio “Just Asking” Podcast

Dr. Nichole Fairbrother was featured in the August 29th episode of the CBC Radio podcast “Just Asking,” hosted by Saroja Coelho. Dr. Fairbrother, along with Dr. Crystal Clark, reproductive psychiatrist and head of the psychiatry department at Women’s College Hospital, and Megan Weiss, registered psychotherapist, discussed the urgent need to destigmatize postpartum mental health challenges so new parents can get help rather than suffering in silence. The discussion is framed around the context of Lindsay Clancy, and what this tragic case can tell us about the need for research and interventions for postpartum depression and anxiety.
