Biography:

 

Nazanin Babaei is a doctoral student in Clinical Neurosychology at the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on trauma and intimate partner violence in women, with a particular emphasis on how these experiences affect the brain, cognitive functioning, mental health, and resilience. Her research integrates neuropsychological assessment with trauma-informed approaches to better understand and support survivors of interpersonal violence. Nazanin is also interested in the experiences of individuals with history of brain injury, addictions, and her work aims to improve access to care and promote recovery in vulnerable populations.
