Biography:

Lucy (Yuqin) Li is a graduate student in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on clear cell ovarian cancer, with an emphasis on cancer metabolism, redox homeostasis, and metabolic vulnerabilities that may be therapeutically targeted. Her current work investigates how nutrient-dependent metabolic pathways support tumor survival and metastatic fitness. Through this research, she aims to improve understanding of therapy-resistant ovarian cancer and contribute to the development of more effective treatment strategies.
