Biography:

 

I am a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia with research interests spanning affective neuroscience, substance use, and mental health. My work focuses on the neurobiology of opioid withdrawal and affective dysregulation, with a strong interest in how sex‑related biological factors shape vulnerability, symptom expression, and treatment outcomes. Through a translational neuroscience lens, I aim to contribute to more equitable, evidence‑based approaches to women’s health research and care.
