Biography:

 

Lani completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics Degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and is now pursuing her Master’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. Her research focuses on understanding how female neuromuscular function changes with age, and how major hormonal changes such as menopause may impact neuromuscular function. When she is not in the lab, she is typically outdoors enjoying physical activity in the Okanagan or spending time with friends.

Research areas of interest:

Understanding female neuromuscular physiology in pre- and post-menopausal females, specifically the influence of sex hormones and hormone therapy on motor neurons and functional ability.
