Biography:

RN of 17 years in labour & delivery and nursery nursing. Strong interest and commitment to menopause care and so I initiated my masters with a focus on perimenopause and menopause. My hope is to see menopause care an accessible option for women with non-complex and complex perimenopause and menopause issues and to see this kind of care provided by nurses in the Public Health arena. I recently hosted a menopause health and wellness day retreat, called The Menoparty, where 140 women attended to learn more about menopause and join to together for social support. This was a substantial success and I have since been asked to host this event yearly. As I embark on my thesis in menopause I hope to stay connected to like minded individuals and those researching menopause today. I’m excited to be a part of this evolution in women’s health care.
