Jacynthe L’Heureux is a PhD Candidate in Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. Her research explores how life transitions—such as reproductive loss, perinatal grief, parenthood, and family caregiving—intersect with employment, work productivity, and labour force participation. Using a health economics lens, she examines the impacts of these transitions on health, well-being, and employment outcomes among equity-deserving populations. Through this work, she aims to inform and advance more equitable and inclusive policies and practices across both workplace and health system settings.
