After graduating as an MD in 2015 from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, she pursued a PhD degree in clinical medicine, during which she conducted research on optimizing the intensive care of infants who received therapeutic hypothermia for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). As part of her training, she completed the Program in Clinical Effectiveness at Harvard School of Public Health that enables her to pursue a degree in master of public health.

Given her special interest in therapy optimization for infants with HIE, she joined the Neonatal Research Group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston in 2019. Within the framework of this postdoctoral fellowship she initiated a clinical trial to investigate the accuracy of transcutaneous carbon-dioxide measurement and cerebral autoregulation in infants with HIE.
