Biography:

Hayal is a BSc. Behavioural Neuroscience student at the University of British Columbia working with Dr. Lori Brotto at the Sexual Health Research Lab. Her work focuses on leveraging research to improve the healthcare experiences of marginalized communities. Primarily interested in intersectional approaches to relational wellbeing, she is passionate about identifying mechanisms that affect ethnoculturally diverse women’s wellbeing in family settings.
