Jeffrey Wong
Biography:
Jeff is the current Reproductive Infectious Diseases Clinical Fellow and CTN Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto, followed by his Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency at the University of British Columbia. He has received competitive salary funding through the CTN Postdoctoral Fellowship Award, the Allen-Carey Scholarship in Women’s Health, and the Dawn Walker Grant from the Canadian Foundation for Women’s Health to support his subspecialty training. He is also the current recipient of the JAMMI Trainee Published Manuscript Award and the D.A. Boyes Memorial Research Award. His academic interests include improving perinatal care in patients living with HIV, addressing congenital syphilis, global obstetrical care and medical education.
