Anthony (Anton) Chau
Biography:
Anton received his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy at UBC and subsequently went on to complete a Hospital Pharmacy Residency at The Ottawa General Hospital. He returned to Vancouver to complete his MD and Anesthesiology residency at UBC. He subsequently pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesia at Brigham and Women’s Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Lawrence Tsen, completed the Clinician Investigator Program at UBC and obtained a Masters of Medical Science degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation at Harvard Medical School. He is currently the Program Director for the Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship and Director of Research at BC Women’s Hospital Department of Anesthesia. His research interests include neuraxial analgesia and anesthesia techniques, maternal and fetal health and patient safety.
