Biography:
I am a second-year medical student with a strong interest in women’s health, youth health, and maternity care. I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Leavitt on a research project studying how social determinants of health are documented and managed for women delivering at St. Paul’s Hospital. We hope the results of this study will contribute towards improved documentation of social determinants of health on the BC antenatal record and more effective resource referral to manage social need in pregnant patients.
