Niyoosha Yoosefi
Biography:
My name is Niyoosha Yoosefi and am a fourth-year Honours Bachelor of Sciences student, specializing in Cellular Anatomical Physiology at UBC.
I have a keen interest in Endocrinology and Women’s health and am currently doing a studentship at the Centre for Menstrual Cycle and Ovulation Research, looking at the effectiveness of progesterone therapy for women with PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I’ve also started the UBC Women’s Health Initiative (UBC WHI) where my team and I raise awareness on often underdiagnosed and under-researched disorders related to women’s health.
