Emily McKay
Biography:
Emily McKay is a Registered Nurse pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of British Columbia. Emily spent the first few years of her career working as a RN in Childbirth at Grand River Hospital. Emily is passionate about addressing how gender and sex, and other social determinants of health, influence the health of all women. Emily’s goal is to become a leader in advancing women’s health by teaching healthcare professionals at a university level and conducting research to improve women’s health outcomes.
