Sarah Munro
Biography:
Dr. Sarah Munro is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Health Systems and Population Health at the University of Washington School of Public Health. Using qualitative and knowledge translation methods she investigates the factors that influence implementation of evidence-based innovations in health services and systems with a focus on improving equity and access to sexual and reproductive health care for underserved populations. Dr. Munro completed her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies at UBC and a joint postdoctoral fellowship with the UBC Department of Family Practice and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. She currently conducts multinational research with the WHRI through her joint positions as an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the UBC Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and co-Director of the Contraception and Abortion Research Team.
