Biography:

Nadia Mithani is currently a PhD student at the University of British Columbia in the School of Population and Public Health. Under the supervision of Dr. Gina Ogilvie, her research focuses on the acceptability and uptake of HPV-based cervical self-screening among underserved populations in BC. Nadia previously completed her Master of Public Health in Global Health at Simon Fraser University, and has several years of experience managing projects related to nutrition, obesity, tobacco control, HIV/AIDS and water and sanitation in Canada, Uganda, Jordan and India.
