Biography:
Pierre Lane is Senior Scientist at the BC Cancer Research Institute, Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University (School of Engineering Science), and Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia (School of Biomedical Engineering). His research interests include fluorescence and reflectance imaging for early detection of lung, oral, and gynecologic cancers, optical signal and image processing, machine vision, fiber optics, biophotonics, confocal microscopy, spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and spatial light modulation.
