CIHR Global Health Priorities

Dear WHRI Community,

You may be aware that Canadian Institutes of Health Research recently completed a consultation to determine strategic global health funding priorities. We were disappointed to see that maternal and child health were not identified in these priorities. However the CIHR strategic planning process is ongoing. Your voice in support of maternal and child health can still be heard. In response, the IHDCYH Advisory Board provided a statement to express these concerns.

While their surveys have now closed, we strongly encourage you to read the statement and provide your own feedback by participating in their discussion forum and Q&As.
