Announcing the CHIWOS Women Centred-HIV Care Toolkits
Around 14,500 women live with HIV in Canada, and delivering holistic integrated care that responds to their needs and priorities is essential.
Based on findings from CHIWOS and an extensive community-collaborative research program, two new toolkits were developed on Women-Centred HIV Care.
One toolkit was developed for women living with HIV as a self-management and health self-advocacy tool. The second toolkit is to support HIV clinicians and community-based organizations to deliver Women-Centred HIV Care. They are now available online!

National Indigenous Peoples Day
Hadih!
National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to celebrate Indigenous culture and unique heritage. It is a chance to share with pride what it means to be Indigenous.
Carrier Sekani Family Services asked our social media followers to share photos, videos, and comments with us on what National Indigenous Peoples Day meant to them. They responded with uplifting stories, photos of traditional activities, and personal experiences on what it means to be Indigenous.
For the staff at Carrier Sekani Family Services, it is also a day for us to reflect and appreciate the work we do for the Nations we serve. Many CSFS employees wrote personal letters to commemorate this day, to reflect on their work, and share some of our most cherished memories.
CSFS Staff would like to say Mussi cho, thank you, to eveyrone who allows us into your lives. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we are proud to serve you.
Read the letters here: https://www.csfs.org/

RTDO Holds Virtual Office Hours for Fall Grant Projects
Starting July 7, the RTDO will hold 2 sessions per week of 'virtual office hours' so that we can work with you to plan ahead for Fall 2020 grant competitions, especially CIHR Project Grants and NSERC Discovery Grants. Weekly Virtual Office Hours: Tuesday mornings, 1000h - 1200h Thursday afternoons, 1400h - 1600h
These 2-hour periods on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be kept available to researchers to schedule time (30-40 min per meeting; by tele- or video-conference, as you prefer) with us. If you'd like to schedule a time, please email Eric Lussier. (as always, if these days/times don't work for you, we are available to meet on other days; as well, if the virtual office hours become popular, we will try to make a calendar of some kind so you can see what is available ahead of time).
