Sixth Annual Women's Health Research Symposium Recap
Yesterday we hosted our Sixth Annual Women's Health Research Symposium, virtually.
We were thrilled to see over 260 people join us in this new 'venue.' Attendees represented researchers, students and trainees, healthcare stakeholders, industry partners, community members and patient partners.

The COVID-19 RESPPONSE Study has released its first report!
The report highlights preliminary findings, grounded in sex-, gender-, and age-based analyses, from COVID-19 RESPPONSE on outcomes of depression, anxiety, loneliness, and stress/worry for British Columbians throughout the pandemic. Data on experiences of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), substance use, and coping ability are also reported.

CANCOVID-Preg: Report #3
CANCOVID-Preg is a national Canadian surveillance program of COVID-19 in pregnancy.
They have now released their third report which continues to add to the growing body of evidence that suggests pregnant women are at increased risk of severe illness related to COVID-19.

COVID-19 and Women’s Health: Developing Policies to Catalyze Well-being
Researchers at UBC are carrying out a study aiming to generate policy recommendations to improve women's health around the world. Recognizing that the current pandemic has posed many challenges to women's health, they are trying to shed a light through these difficult times to a more equitable health future post-COVID-19. Your ideas in this regard will help to formulate a path forward.
The survey will take 15-20 minutes: COVID-19 & Women's Health Survey - Developing Policies to Catalyze Well-Being
